ARZIGNANO FUTURE: WHAT ARE GREEN ECONOMY "

It opened in Copenhagen, the Fifteenth Conference of the United Nations on climate. the middle of this very important summit there will be an extension of the International Convention on Climate Change and the signing of a new global agreement to succeed the Kyoto Protocol.
DEBATE.
What is now more than ever is at the center of the debate, the possible impact of the increase socio-political della temperatura terrestre.
SURRISCALDAMENTO.
Sulla questione del surriscaldamento terrestre, il IV rapporto dell'IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), comitato scientifico sul mutamento climatico formato nel 1988 da due organismi delle Nazioni United, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), said: "warming of the climate system is unequivocal, as is apparent from the increase in average air and ocean temperatures, widespread regression of the areas covered by snow and glaciers, and rising average sea levels. " It goes on to write: "most of the warming observed since the mid-twentieth century can be attributed most likely (ie probability of more than 90 per cent) the increase in greenhouse gases emitted by human activities."
TEMPERATURE. Certainly the data of temperature, we can not measure it on "how hot does today." As well explain the climate scientists, in fact, it must be examined on a broad span of time, and this is what could certify the inexorable growth in global temperature of the last hundred years. Since the beginning of '900
land has suffered a general warming estimated around 0.8 ° C. The dangerous threshold estimated by the most accredited climatologists is 2 ° C. Therefore serves a worldwide effort to stay below that limit. To achieve this it is estimated that the increased emissions must stop around the world by 2020 at most.
The European Union has already pledged to reduce emissions by at least by then 20% compared to 1990 and, if other countries follow the example of the earth, is prepared to reach 30%. By 2050 to eliminate most of the emissions. For this reason, in December 2008 the EU adopted an integrated strategy on energy and climate change, which sets ambitious targets. The aim is to steer Europe towards a sustainable future by developing a low CO2 energy-efficient.
USA. The U.S. is considering a cut significantly lower in Europe.

two weeks ago now, Obama has announced that the U.S. is willing to reduce CO2 by 17% 2005 levels by 2020 (ie -3% compared to 1990) of 30% by 2025, 42% by 2030, up to 83% (again compared to 2005 levels) by 2050. It would, however, targets "provisional", since Obama is to deal with a Congress that has never adopted a specific legislation on emission limits. Brazil, South Africa, India and China these days have presented their counterproposal, which for now we only know that reaffirms the unacceptability of binding targets for poor countries, as well as for international verification of the results of mitigation actions that are not financed by rich countries.
UNCERTAINTY. Despite
